Whilst studying towards the AAT Level 3 Diploma you will consolidate your learning through the practice of specific business accounting tasks, such as the formal preparation of accounts for Sole Traders and partnerships.

The AAT Level 4 Diploma will teach you how to undertake advanced activities, such as the formal preparation of accounts for limited companies, and develop your management skills. The AAT specialist units for level 4 will allow you to focus on the areas which interest you most.

Syllabus

Your qualification…

• Level 3 and 4 diplomas - equivalent to gaining an A Level and a Certificate of Higher Education
• Accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)
• 12 units altogether: six units at Level 3 plus six (four compulsory plus two of five optional)units at Level 4
• 10 computer based tests altogether: four at level 3 and six at level 4, all taken at a local test centre
• 705 Guided Learning Hours (GLH), however as this is an onlinelearning course you are in complete control over how much time you commit to your studies each week
• Flexible payment options available​
• Offers progression to further study with UK Chartered and Certified Accountancy bodies
• It is essential that you have a PC with the Windows XP operating system or higher

Prerequisites

To enrol on our AAT Level 3 and Level 4 Diploma students must hold an AAT Level 2 Certificate or equivalent qualification and be able to demonstrate appropriate knowledge through work experience or an alternative qualification.

Before you enrol on this Home Learning College course, please ensure that you have read and understood the prerequisites below:

• You have a valid UK address (AAT qualifications cannot be studied outside the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man).
• You are over the age of 18 or have a third party payee for any financial agreement
• You have a solid grasp of the English language. ELTS 5.5 or equivalent is required if English is not your first language
• You have access to a computer and the Internet throughout your study period
• You have basic PC skills in order to navigate our Virtual Learning Campus
• You are fully committed to your studies.
