Course details

If you're looking for a broad understanding of key health and safety issues, the NEBOSH construction safety certificate is for you

It's aimed at managers, supervisors and principal designers, those who manage contractors, and those who use temporary workspaces

The NEBOSH Construction course is divided into 3 units

Unit 1 is NGC1 of the NEBOSH Certificate - so if you've successfully completed this within the last five years you're already part way there - if not, that is your starting point

This 8-day NEBOSH Construction course therefore consists of the final two units, bolted on to NGC1:

CC1, assessed by a two-hour written exam

CC2, a work based practical assessment

The course has been revised in line with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015

NGC1 plus the two NEBOSH construction units (CC1 and CC2) must be completed within five years

The NEBOSH construction course may be taken at any of our training centres or as a tailored option in your workplace

Price includes training, ongoing support, course materials, lunch and refreshments

Health and safety revision courses and NEBOSH exams also available

Successful candidates may apply for Technician Membership of IOSH (TechIOSH) and Associate Membership of the IIRSM (AIIRSM)

About RoSPA

Accidents are the biggest threat to you and your family for most of your life. In fact, more than 14,000 people die as a result of accidents across the UK each year, while thousands more are maimed and millions are injured. Businesses are ruined. Families are devastated. Children grow up without parents, parents without children.

Yet despite the scale and severity of the problem, accidents are still too often discussed with a shrug of the shoulders. There is a pervasive belief amongst some people that accidents are somehow inevitable. That they can't be stopped.
