This is a Management level qualification requiring students to complete 14 Competency Units (8 Core units and 6 Elective units) and attain at least 39 credits.
Students will gain knowledge and become competent in skills from a broad range of highly-developed management skills specific to the Tourism industry.
Content
Course content includes coverage of essential financial, human resource, operations management skills as well as a selection of supplementary knowledge (selected to meet industry and/or inpidual need) drawn from business finance, human resource management, sales and marketing and travel services.

Entry Requirement
- WSQ Advance Certificate in Tour and Travel Services or
- Two (2) years work experience at the supervisory level in the tourism sector or
- WSQ ES Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 7 or equivalent
Mode of Instruction
Instruction may include lectures, discussions, excursions, guest speakers, demonstrations, case-studies, practical exercises and activities.
Assessment
Competency Based Assessment for this qualification may include Practical Performance, Role Plays, Oral Questioning, Workplace Observation, Written Questions, Industry Research Projects and/or feedback from workplace Supervisors.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the programme, trainees will receive a WSQ Diploma in Tourism.
Articulation
For progression, participants may wish pursue the William Angliss Institute’s Higher Education programmes.

Our Centre in Singapore joins campuses in Melbourne and Sydney with joint ventures in China, Thailand, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. The Melbourne headquarters was established in Melbourne in 1940. We provide knowledge, skills and attitudes to shape and improve the Tourism, Hospitality and Food industries. The William Angliss Institute Tourism CET Centre will provide a range of Tourism related WSQ Qualifications. In addition to traditional on campus delivery methods to William Angliss Institute CET Centre will work closely with the Tourism Industry to deliver a range of short courses through to full qualifications in industry. The Institute will bring its years of experience of on-the-job training to Singapore to not only develop the skills of those students wishing to enter the industry but to further develop skills of those already working in the Tourism sector.
