Developed and marketed by Intuit Inc. (headquartered in California, USA), QuickBooks is an accounting software package intended to be employed in small and middle-sized businesses. QuickBooks holds a vast majority of the market share in its class of software packages.

Amongst the biggest reasons for the fact that QuickBooks has registered such commendable success in the global market include aggressive pricing by Intuit, ease of operation, online integration and customer service to name a few.
