This course gives participants the skills to compare and contrast a merger and an acquisition, understand the strategic and economic considerations in M & A, and be familiar with the principal legal and accounting concepts of M & A.

- Introduction: What are merger and acquisitions?
- The definition of various forms of business combinations or merger
- The cost method and the equity method of accounting for the holding company investment in the subsidiaries and the fundamental differences between them.
- Review the operations exchanged between Group companies
- Practical cases of the Saudi market for acquisition and merger
