Medical coding is the transformation of healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and
equipment into universal medical alphanumeric program is designed to prepare students for employment in variety of health care settings such as an entry level coder, medical record coder, coding technician, or coding clerk, or medical coder/biller (Medical Records and Health Information Technician).
