The Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers is pleased to announce a partnership with the Institute of Technology Tallaght, Dublin for the delivery of a level 6 higher Certificate award in Real Estate: Valuation, Sale and Management that satisfies the requirements of National Property Services Regulatory Authority for licensing purposes. Graduates who have successfully completed IPAV’s Certificate in Estate Agency are eligible to apply for this award on the basis of their qualification. This new route is student friendly and requires the applicant to undertake a practical work based Professional Practice module to satisfy the requirement of the award. The Professional Practice module covers all subjects previously studied on the Certificate in Estate
Agency and allows the student to demonstrate in a practical manner what s/he has learned on the programme. This is achieved through the compilation of a learning portfolio where the students will demonstrate online the learning achieved in work without the requirement to attend lectures. This will be evidenced by describing tasks undertaken and uploading these as evidence for assessment by the academic staff involved.

Under its current form TEGoVA emerged in June 1997 from the former EUROVAL.
TEGoVA is the European umbrella organisation of national valuers associations. Its main objective is the creation and spreading of harmonised standards for valuation practice, for education and qualification as Theyll as for corporate governance and ethics for valuers. It supports its member associations in the introduction and implementation of these standards. TEGoVA represents the interests of 53 associations from 30 countries with a total of over 70,000 members and speaks with a common voice on valuation to European legislators and policy-makers.
