Entry Requirments - Applicants

• The course is aimed at both existing practitioners and career changers. Applicant must possess a mature outlook, a passion for the business of restaurant and the drive and capability to pursue a career in the Restaurant industry at management level.
• Students graduating from the programme will have developed a range of competencies enabling them to excel as restaurant supervisor/assistant manager and will be equipped with specialised skills in different restaurant operations.
• Applications are made directly to the Hotel, Culinary and Tourism Department at IT Tralee. It is pre requisite that the candidate has secured a work based learning establishment prior to applying for the programme. A representative from this establishment is also required to attend at interview stage.
