- Entry requirements: This course is ideal for students who want to learn more about marketing, whether they are in a marketing job or not, and who are educated to A-Level standard.
- The Qualification: The CIM Foundation Certificate is an ideal introduction to marketing. It looks at marketing in different situations and considers the Not for Profit, Service and Business to Business sectors as well as the Consumer market.

It is not necessary to have any previous experience or knowledge of marketing to study the Foundation Certificate in Professional Marketing. So, if you’re an aspiring marketer or new to a marketing support role, this qualification is the right choice for you.
If English isn’t your first language, you will also need to demonstrate you’ve achieved one of the following English language qualifications within the last two years:
- IELTS Academic Module with an overall score of (each component pass mark must be or above);
- Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English grade B or above
