Students with this level of English ability will be able to cope linguistically in a wide range of social and professional situations. At this level, learners can be expected to cope confidently in most situations that would arise in English speaking countries.

Entry requirement

For students with above 6 year’s old who have completed Rainforest Business College English Leve4 or Students will be given a placement test and will be placed into the appropriate level according to the results.

Outcome

Consolidating and developing ability to enable students to become independent users of English. Understanding different styles of spoken and written English, Formal and informal, and learning how to apply a particular style to the right situation.

Developing reading skills from a wide range of reading material including newspapers, magazines, travel brochures, etc., to increase understanding of different texts, different reading techniques for information and how to respond to and record such information.

Planning and organisation of written skills for various purposes such as letter writing, reports, narrative writing and expository writing style appropriately for these different tasks.

Intakes

There will be an intake of student for every week.

Assessment

Students will take the examination on a half-yearly basis. Our examination offers a communicative approach to test students on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills at this level. Assessment for this programme will be a combination of half an hour oral examination and a 2 hours writing examination in June and December each year.
