If you are a working professional or have a busy schedule, an Online MBA or distance education is a great option. There are over 100 Institutions offering 307 Online MBAs. If you prefer a traditional learning experiance, check out our list of MBAs in Dubai.

Before you make your decision you must ask yourself the question, is an Online MBA for me?

What is an Online MBA?

An Online MBA offers flexibility, meaning that you can set your study schedule to suit your learning needs. If you have a busy schedule and do not have time to go to a full time campus course, then an online option would be suitable as you would be able to manage your time effectively a lot more easily. You are not restricted to just a traditional MBA, in fact you are able to take all forms of an MBA including an Online Executive MBA.

Online Vs. Campus Learning

An online curriculum is very similar to taking an MBA on campus. The biggest difference between taking an Online MBA and taking an MBA on campus is the way content is communicated to the student. Being on campus allows for a more personal learning environment by attending lectures, having discussions with other students and handing in assignments directly to the instructor. In an online environment, lectures and discussions are all placed online either streaming an online lecture or chatting in a private chat room.  Assignments are submitted electronically by uploading them directly to your instructor. In essence, you will be following a very similar curriculum to a campus based MBA, however the delivery method is the major difference.

Is an Online MBA right for you?

If you have a busy work schedule or do not have a lot of time during the day, an Online MBA is a great option. It will certainly take some getting used to at the start. If you learn better through personal interaction, then an online option probably is not the best option for you. If you can handle a different style of learning through online methods and can cope with setting time aside everyday to study, then an Online MBA can offer you a quality education without having to be physically on campus.
