MLR Institute of Technology was established in the year 2005 with the aim of providing quality education to all sections of the society. The college is run by KMR educational society under the abler chairmanship of Sri M Laxman Reddy. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE) and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Hyderabad.

Campus

The campus consistsof 25 Acres of land and lot of build up area excluding other buildings and workshop areas, is adequateto conduct various courses under B.Tech Program. The main building consists of well ventilated and lighted class rooms with Audio Visual aids for teaching, Laboratories, Workshops, Spacious Drawing Halls,Computer Centers, Life skill development labs, Seminar Hall, Ladies lounge, faculty rooms,Conference room and so on

MLRIT has aunique distinction of becoming Institutional member in professional bodies such as Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), Computer Society India ( CSI ), Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers ( IETE ).
