Entry Requirements:
Leaving Certificate / Leaving Certificate Applied or QQI/ FETAC Level 4. Mature students with relevant life or work experience. All candidates will be interviewed individually.
Work Experience:
Work Experience is a compulsory part of the course. Garda Vetting is required and will be organised through the college.
Certification:
QQI Level 5 Major Award in Youthwork
Prospects:
Successful completion of the course will enable the learner to enter employment in the Youth Work area. Learners may also take up further study at Third Level through the Higher Education Links Scheme.
