Course details
This course covers the selection, setup and operations of appropriate lighting design and lighting equipment to meet production’s requirements. The skills include selecting the appropriate lighting design and equipment; briefing others about the design; and modifying and manipulating the lights to achieve lighting objectives.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Make an assessment of the requirements of the scene / shoot to determine the required lighting design and equipment
- Brief the team on the lighting design to facilitate understanding of the work required to execute the design
- Use appropriate techniques to modify and manipulate lights to achieve the required lighting objectives
- Apply safety procedures related to the use of lighting equipment to achieve and maintain a safe working environment
