Course details
Social Accountability compliance has emerged as one of the most complex challenges before the garment industry. In recent years, Asian vendors had failed to meet the code of conduct standards given by buyers. This resulted in hundreds of factories closing down. Thousands of small factories still face problems with standard code of conduct doing businesses with large brands as they do not know how to meet the code of conduct requirements. Buyers, on the other hand, are increasing pressure and raising the bar with new demands. A factory is often faced with multiple code of conducts and has many auditing and monitoring visits. The challenge, therefore, is to ensure that they meet the code of conduct audit every time and stay competitive. This training is a great opportunity to understand the issues, challenges and solutions from a renowned expert.
