    The WSQ Maintain Composite Structures (AR-CCU-202E-1) is a competency elective unit designed to train participants in three aspects; namely, to identify defects on composite structures, repair, and perform wet and dry lay up of composite materials.

    Participants will be taught:

    • Fundamentals of composite materials
    • Key reinforcements and matrix materials
    • Identification of defects & Repair processes
    • Nondestructive evaluation
    • Tools for repair and inspections
    • Personal protection equipment
    • Handling, storage and documentation

    Minimum Entry Requirements

    WSQ Employability Skills WPLN Proficiency Level 4 equivalent to Lower Secondary

    Certification

    Upon successful completion of this unit, learners will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment (SOA).
