Merchandising and Marketing are for those who are interested to enter a career or looking to improve their skills in these areas within the industry. Merchandising is a comprehensive function which covers market research, development of new products, coordination of product development and marketing. At TaF.tc, you learn how to source, how to cost and how to ensure quality of the product suitable for its end use. Marketing will also deliver in-depth knowledge in the core areas of the 5P's:
- Product - Knowledge in textiles, garment construction, drafting and sewing.
- Pricing - the skills and knowledge in costing, sourcing and buying.
- Place - the skills and knowledge in order tracking from concept to delivery.
- Promotion - the underlining knowledge of the product, price and place as to effectively communicate to promote product and service.
- People - infused in every module of the varied cultures from East to West.
COURSE STRUCTURE
The WSQ Diploma will be conducted in the form of lectures, discussions, demonstrations, case studies, practical exercises, role plays and hands-on activities.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT
- Possess at least 3 GCE "O" level credit including English and Mathematics or ES WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) level 5 and above.
- Students are required to have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferred) especially for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as this will be required during project / group work.
