Course details
This training provides skills and knowledge to identify different types of footwear, footwear styles and trends. In this module, participants will learn how to measure human foot size and how to evaluate fit. Based on the latest fashion trends, they will be able to coordinate fashion apparel to match the respective shoe styles for different occasions.
OBJECTIVES
- Identify different types of footwear
- Measure foot size and convert sizing to different countries’ standards
- Identify suitable color scheme and style for footwear to match with the different fashion apparels and occasions
- Coordinate selected footwear styles and colors to conceal or accentuate human legs and body shapes
- Conduct fit evaluation and style co-ordination for footwear and recommend alternatives
ENTRY REQUIREMENT
Preferably possess 3 GCE ‘N’ level qualification with passes in English and Math or ESS WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 4 and above.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Participant will be awarded the WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) provided he/she meets the following requirements:
- 75% attendance rate
- Assessed to be competent in given competency standard
CERTIFICATE ISSUANCE
Upon succcessful completion of the course, trainee will be awarded the WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA). WSQ Certification is nationally endorsed and recognised by industry partners.
