Course details
Learn the process of reading, analyzing, articulating, and quantifying critical elements of a script for the objective of charting a strategic plan for production. At the end of the course, students will be able to read and analyze the story and script structure so as to identify the various production elements, and organize the different production components into a working schedule within an overall budgetary framework.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Read and break down a script by identifying script elements into various components, cast, extras, background, etc.
- Amalgamate quotes into an overall budgetary framework for presentation to the approval team
- Create a working schedule for a script and present the schedule for approval
