Those who want a career switch to aviation industry and newly recruited personnel, who wish to seek recognition as trained Technicians in the Aviation Industry.
Course Objectives
- This course provides the basic theoretical knowledge, and essential practical skills, required for general aircraft maintenance.
Course Structure
- The course consists of 60hours of training including assessment.
Student – Lecturer Ratio
- Theory:
- The ratio of Lecturer to Students is 1:32 for theory classes.
Practical:
- The ratio of Lecturer to Students is 1:16 for practical training.
Learning And Teaching Methods
- All classes will be a mix of lectures and practical skills training
Student Assessment
- WSQ courses are assessed by practical assessments
Minimum Entry Requirements
- WSQ Employability Skills WPLN Proficiency Level 4 equivalent to Lower Secondary
Graduation Requirements
- Upon successful completion of courses. Participants will be awarded the ‘Statement of Attainment for WSQ Aerospace: Basic Aviation Skills (Extended)’ by Singapore Workforce Development Agency
Attendance Requirements
- Students must achieve a minimum of 75% attendance for all individual modules
