This unit covers gathering information about a problem and looking for possible solutions, making recommendations for decisions as appropriate for implementation, implementing the solution and reviewing the effectiveness of the solution.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Explore a problem and identify solutions which may solve the problem
- Select or recommend a solution(s) in a manner which makes the solutions acceptable
- Implement the solution in a timely and safe manner
- Review the effectiveness of the solution and take remedial action where required to ensure the problem has been solved
