Worldspan Conversion Training

Course details

To instruct participants on how to create and price Passenger Name Records (PNRs), when converting from another GDS or to reinforce and expand their existing Worldspan knowledge.

Objectives

By the end of this course participants will be able to:

• Sign on and off from the Worldspan system and work with encode/decode
• Plan an itinerary for your customers
• Build a Passenger Name Record (PNR)
• Add optional PNR fields
• Work with Itineraries
• Add servicing items to a PNR
• Work with Worldspan Fares
• Price Itineraries
• Obtain fares using e-Pricing products
• pide and clone a PNR, and interpret history
• Manage PNRs in queue
• Book a car using the Car Booking Tool Script
• Create a hotel segment using the Hotel Booking Tool Script
• Display World Files

Prerequisites

Completion of the three self-paced online tutorials must be accomplished prior to attending the classroom course (detailed below). Participants should have a minimum of 6 months to 1 years’ experience with working on another GDS.

`Blended Learning` using three separate methods; self-paced online tutorials, face to face classroom training and virtual instructor led training

3. Day TWO Instructor Led Virtual Training - Three '1.5' hour instructor led virtual training sessions via WebEx.

Day 2 of the course to be taken immediately following the one day classroom course at participants own venue.
