Price: SGD 749

    Course details

Every type of work brings with it some safety or health concerns, and healthcare work is no exception. As healthcare workers are exposed to a wide range of work-related safety and health risks, it is necessary for healthcare organizations to protect and promote workplace safety and health.

Providing a safe and healthy work environment will boost the well-being, morale, and productivity of healthcare workers. Poor safety and health practices can contribute to illness, absenteeism, productivity loss, disability, and even death. All these can be prevented.

To encourage and aid the workplace safety and health effort in the healthcare industry, the Workplace Safety and Health Council of the Ministry of Manpower has produced a set of guidelines directed at healthcare workers. The guidelines highlight common work hazards faced by healthcare workers and recommend best practices to control or prevent these hazards.
