Working memory is an important cognitive ability required for daily life. It is highly predictive of educational and occupational success. However, many children in school, especially those with Specific Learning Difficulties have deficits in working memory.
This workshop seeks to help participants better understand what working memory is and the deficits faced by children within school. Strategies will be shared to help parents and educators compensate for working memory deficits their children/students face.
