Course details
This programme will enable students to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to work with children with special needs as a Childcare/Special Needs Assistant in a creche, playgroup, after-school day care, or similar setting.
Students will develop skills and experience in the field of special needs with theection of appropriate elective components and work experience.
The focus of the programme is to develop the interpersonal, social and practical skills necessary to work in early years special needs education.

Entry Requirements
Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied. All applicants must have two references and are subject to individual and group interview. Applications are welcome from mature students with relevant experience.
