Course details

Any person who supervises working at height in any industry for example working in construction, shipyard, Oil & Petrochemical are required to attend WAH Course for Supervisor.

Assumed Skills, Knowledge & Entry Requirement

• Language Proficiency: We recommend WPLN Level 4 and above, or equivalent
• Weight should not exceed 100kg to participate in practical training activities

The following health contra-indications should not be present, so that delegate can participate in practical training activities:

• Heart diseases/chest pain – High blood pressure
• Epilepsy, fits/blackouts – Fear of heights/vertigo
• Giddiness/difficulty with balance – Impaired limb function
• Alcohol or drug dependence – Psychiatric illness/counselling
• Diabetes
• High blood pressure

Course Overview

• At the end of the course, the participants shall be able to:
• Identify the various Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) legislations / codes of practice / approved codes of practice / Singapore standards applicable to WAH
• Conduct risk assessment on safety & health hazards and implement preventive measures related to working at height
• Identify, use and care for the various fall arrest systems and equipment
• Develop and implement a Fall Protection Plan

Certification

Based on the successful completion of the course and assessment, a certificate of achievement endorsed by Ever Safe Consultants Pte. Ltd. will be issued to all participants.
