Work at Height for Manager (Integrated)- WAHM(I)

Course details

Effective 1^stMay 2014 under the permit to work system in work place safety and health (work at heights) (Amendment) Regulations2014; a trained and qualified manager is required to approve PTWs for hazardous work at height.

For Whom

This course is mainly for personnel with supervisory and management responsibilities over WAH supervisors, foremen and those in charge of workers who are performing working at height activities and to authorize Permit-To-Work system for work at height.

Assumed Skills, Knowledge & Entry Requirement for Work At Height Course For Manager (Integrated)

• Employability Skills System (ESS) Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 6 and above or equivalent.
• Ability to carry out hazards identification, risk assessment, and risk control measures
• 2 or more years of working experience as Project Manager / Operations Manager or equivalent

Course Overview

The aim of the course is to provide course participants with the requisite WAH knowledge to supervise and manage work at height activities, so that they are carried out properly and safely..

Course Content

• Legal Requirements, Approved Code of Practice, and Standards for WAH.
• Roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders.
• Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment.
• Control measures for fall prevention and fall arrest systems.
• Permit-to work-(PTW) for WAH
• Fall Prevention Plan (FPP) & its components, including emergency response for WAH .
• Site management & Oversight.

Certification

• Participants who have attended 100% of the training sessions and passed the course assessments, a certificate of achievement endorsed by Ever Safe Consultants Pte. Ltd. will be issued to all participants.
