Line Supervisors, Foremen, Site Engineers , Managers and personnel who need to perform or supervise Work-At-Height activities

OBJECTIVE

The aim of the course is to provide course participants with the requisite WAH knowledge to supervise work at height activities so that they are carried out properly and safety. 

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Apply relevant Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) legislation/ approved codes of practice/ Singapore standards applicable to WAH and roles and responsibilities.
• Apply the risk assessment on WAH and implement preventive measures related to WAH
• Implement the Fall Prevention Plan
• Demonstrate competency in donning, checking and correcting of Inpidual Fall Protection equipment and First line Response in emergency

COVERAGE

• WSH Legislation and references related to WAH
• Risk assessment on WAH and Implement preventive measures related to WAH
• Fall prevention Plan (FPP) & its components, including emergency response for WAH
• Fall Protection equipment and first line response in emergency

REQUIREMENTS

Participants who sign up for this work- at- height  for supervisor course are assumed to have the following skills and knowledge.

• Have a basic knowledge of workplace processes, procedures, activities and practices
• Be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills (ES) Workplace Literacy Level 4

Please note that it is compulsory for participants attending the Work-At-Height course for Supervisors to wear their safety shoes/boots.

FUNDING

This course is approved for course fee and absentee payroll funding.
