Who should attend?

These courses are designed for anybody working day to day with Web Development and Content Management. Webmaster 1 gives a great foundation to those without a deep technical knowledge, while Webmaster 2 caters more to the needs of the more experienced content deveoper. There is flexibility to tailor the modules within these courses to suit your own needs. Course Overview

Producing web pages requires a wide range of skills – often incorporating the skills of a graphic designer and layout specialist with those of a webmaster understanding XHTML, CSS and Spry. This course aims to give new web designers the skills needed to produce professional web sites that will work on any platform – mobile, tablet or desktop.

The course covers the following:

• XHTML and CSS
• Adobe Dreamweaver and the Spry framework
• Responsive design
• WordPress
• Facebook, YouTube and Twitter customisation
• Google Analytics
• Photoshop for the Web

Students attending this course must achieve over 70% in 2 examinations covering all of the topics covered and complete a course project to a satisfactory level in order to obtain the Web Diploma. External examiners ensure these standards are kept high.
