VTOS (Vocational Training Opportunitites Scheme)
This VTOS course is aimed at adults interested in returning to learning and focuses on Art. The course will prepare learners to progress to further education/training.
Level 4 modules (subjects):
- Drawing
- Painting
- Community Art
- Work Experience
- Team Working
- Communications
- Maths
- Information Technology
Eligibility:
Applicants must be eligible for VTOS i.e. must be 21 years of age or over and in receipt of a Social Welfare payment such as Jobseekers' Allowance / Benefit, One Parent Family Payment or Disability Allowance / Illness Benefit for at least 6 months. (Other categories may also apply.)

South Tipperary Vocational Education Committee (VEC) is one of 33 VEC’s established under the Vocational Education Act 1930 – 2001.Their remit as the state provider of education for the County is the provision of a comprehensive range of quality education programmes to meet the needs of the community they serve.
These include Second Level Education, Post Leaving Certificate Programmes, Further Education, Second Chance, Adult & Community Education.
In addition South Tipperary VEC plays a significant role in the Strategic Development of the County through a variety of inter-agency programmes.
