The Senior VCAL Individualised Program provides students with an enormous range of choice and flexibility in putting together a distinct program that suits your needs. The resultant program is more focussed and more integrated for the individual student. You choose an industry specific skill you wish to pursue - based on your areas of interest, strengths, styles, current skills and educational background.
On successful completion of this program learners are eligible for the award of Senior VCAL and partial or full completion of their elected vocational certificate.
By studying Senior VCAL at Box Hill Institute, you maximise your choice of Trades and electives because of the expansive range of courses on offer. Some examples include automotive, building and construction, business studies, children’s services, community services, engineering, hospitality, information technology, multimedia and psychology.
Learners start developing their program by first choosing the industry skill they wish to pursue. Then they include the VCAL units of personal development and work related skills. Options are available of what literacy and numeracy units to choose from as well as elective VCE subjects. Our Seniors also work on a number of industry-related projects through community service and industry placements.

This course may provide you with employment opportunities in your area of interest. The options include a very wide range of roles within the industry you are interested in.
