Demonstrate knowledge of the functions of ExcavatorPlan for work actvities and prepare work area
Start and shut down excavator
Excavator is parked according to manufactures and worksite requirements
Transport excavator to and from site
Embedded knowledge of OHS act and National Road Traffic Act
Basic mechanical appreciation
Equipment dimensions/capacity and controls in relation to safety and maximum work perfomance
Aplying recognised methods for inspecting the Excavator
Accessing available emergency support system and services in case of incidents and accidents
