The CFA Program is offered in a self-study format and is divided into three levels of exams.
LEVEL I: It consist of basic knowledge and comprehension questions focused on investment tools; some questions will require analysis.
LEVEL II: It emphasize more complex analysis along with a focus on valuing assets

CFA exam process
- To be eligible to sit for the exam you must be enrolled in the CFA Program.
- Log onto the CFA Institute website to register for the exam
- Level 1 exam is offered on the 1st Saturday of June and December while Level II & III exams are offered only on 1st Saturday of June.
- Results for Level I and II candidates are available within 60 days of the exam date and within 90 days for Level III candidates.

Steps to be eligible for CFA charter
Step 1: Become a CFA candidate and enroll in the CFA Program. To do so, you must
- meet one of the following criteria:
- Have a bachelor's (or equivalent) degree,
- Be in the final year of a bachelor's degree program,
- Have four years of professional work experience, or
- Have a combination of professional work and university experience that totals at least four years.
• have a valid international passport.

Step 2:. Pass the Level I Exam (June or December).
Step 3: Pass the Level II Exam (June).
Step 4: Pass the Level III Exam (June).
Step 5: Have four years of professional work experience in the investment decision-making process (accrued before, during, or after participation in the CFA Program).
Step 6: Join CFA Institute as a regular member.

Each part of the CFA program requires between hours of study. However this number can vary depending on the candidate's academic background and work experience.
