Who is the course for?
Working Safely is for people at any level, in any sector worldwide, who need a grounding in the essentials of safety and health.
It gives everyone at work an understanding of why they must 'work safely' - and does it in an enjoyable way.
Course overview
Working Safely is a completely different approach to safety and health training. It's a high-impact programme designed to be fun and get people fully involved.
The course covers:
- An outline of occupational safety and health
- Defining hazard and risk
- Identifying common hazards
- Improving safety performance
Course benefits
Everyone at work needs to understand the importance of safety and health.
The course has minimal disruption and is delivered in just one day, including the assessment.
It is recognised by CSCS as an equivalent to a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.
That means that delegates who successfully complete a classroom based Working Safely can apply for a CSCS green Labourer card once they have also passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Operatives Test.
