This course is designed to develop an understanding of the important types of demand guarantees that are used in the international trade financing. This course will enable the participants to gain applied knowledge on Uniform rules for demand guarantees 758 introduced by ICC
Objectives
This course has been developed to build in participants an in depth appreciation of Operational Risk. On successful completion of this course the participants will be able to:
- Understand the role and importance of international trade finance
- Define the roles and responsibilities of various parties in international trade
- Discuss the various types of guarantees
- Analyze the characteristics of guarantees
- Interpret the risks involved in guarantees

- Inpiduals whose present knowledge or experience in the subject is limited, or who are or are shortly to be engaged in the Customs or Trade Finance Department of their bank or organization.
