Course details

Tracer methodology is used in all JCI accreditation and certification programs as a means of assessing compliance with standards, applicable national regulations, and organizational polices.

It is also used to assess key systems such as data use, infection control, and medication management. As managers and frontline staff are the driving force behind tracer methodology, they must be prepared for patient and system tracers and answer any questions that surveyors ask during this process about the care that patients have received.

This program is intended to help you better understand the practical insights into tracer methodology-what it is, how it is used, and what you need to do to handle tracers.
