    The program is designed in the context of an increasing trend towards media professionals working independently, or as part of a multi-disciplinary team, for a range of clients. While emphasis is placed on working environments in the UAE and greater Middle East region, the theories and skills are applicable around the world in developed as well as emerging ;

    There are two entry levels to the Master of Media and Communications. If you have completed a three year undergraduate degree program, or a four year program without a research component, you will enter the MMC program at the foundation level. This will involve completing two extra subjects, decided in consultation with the Faculty.

    Once you have completed the extra subjects, or if you have completed a four year degree that included a research component, you will enter on to the main program, The main program involves a total of 10 subjects, including five core subjects of six credit points each, three electives of six credit points each and a thesis which carries the weighting of 12 credit points. Students may take a maximum of two subjects per semester. At this rate, students are able to complete the degree program in five semesters (for Academic Calendar, see links below). 

    Content / Syllabus

At this rate, students are able to complete the degree program in five semesters (for Academic Calendar, see links below). Each subject requires one evening of attendance per week for 13 weeks. Classes are held 6:00pm - 9:30pm, Sunday - Thursday.
