International health care services are currently experiencing rapid changes that are reshaping health care systems and presenting challenges for both organisations and managers. These developments require individuals that have the knowledge and skills to work in this environment and to develop and deliver health systems that will provide care for the 21st Century.
The MSc International Health Management is designed to meet the needs of existing or aspiring managers in health or allied organisations internationally, including those working in the voluntary or independent sectors, who wish to develop skills and shared learning across different health systems worldwide in order to build capacity and facilitate management strategies that are responsive to a variety challenges.
What is distinctive about this course?
The course is designed to meet the needs of existing or aspiring Managers and Leaders in health or allied organisations, with opportunities for multi-disciplinary learning, has direct academic and online support, delivered by experienced flying faculty who also deliver the programme in the UK. The interactive classroom sessions encourage discussion of real work issues for which solutions are explored making the learning directly applied to the work place.

Students on the MSc in International Health Management will study all the following core modules:
- Management and Organisational Behaviour (30 credits)
- Comparative Health Organisation (30 credits)
- Managing Change (30 credits)
- Human Resource Management (30 credits)
- Management Project (60 credits)

Entry requirements:
- Be working or aspire to work in an international health management setting
- Hold a first degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Have IELTS score of at least 6.5 (or equivalent) if English is not your first language, with at least 5.5 in each of the four sub-tests. This may be waived if one of your previous qualifications was taught and assessed in English and approved by the University of Bradford.
