Course Outline:
Meant for .Net Developers, this course offers practical knowledge to students. It prepares them for building solutions on the MS SharePoint 2010 platform. Participants learn how to use development tools, which include SharePoint Designer 2010 and Visual Studio 2010.
The training imparts skills for developing Web parts, as well as using Event Receivers. Students understand how to access information by using the below:
- CSOM, i.e. Client Side Object Model
- BCS, i.e. Business Connectivity Services
- Workflows
- Other advanced features
Participants additionally gain knowledge about Content Management services, and Sandboxed Solutions development. You understand the usage of User Profile Services, as well as start designing custom codes for projects deployed to the SharePoint 2010 server.
