The Certification program is focused on teaching people how to develop the skills and competencies through media, experiential learning, dialogue and self-reflection. A major focus of the training is developing the participants own EQ which creates a powerful learning experience.

Course Overview:

Emotional Intelligence is the capacity to get optimal results from your relationships. It is a set of learnable skills which focuses on an individual’s ability to use emotions effectively and is the foundation of high performing relationships. It is a very customer centred tool and with EQ on the job, people work together even better, they are more productive, more focused, more innovative, more prudent- they ask tough questions and go beyond what was possible yesterday.

The EQ Certification workshop is designed for anyone serious about enhancing their own emotional intelligence and previous participants have found the workshop life-changing, giving them tools with which to apply positive change within their organizations.

The program has been developed and is delivered by Six Seconds, a global organisation supporting people-performance and positive change. Emotional intelligence is critical to;

  • Leadership,
  • Learning, and 
  • Organizational performance. 

The workshop runs over 5 full days with hands-on, dynamic instructions coupled with activities and practical projects of emotional intelligence and how you can apply it. At the end of the course you will give have an in-depth understanding of emotional intelligence and the tools required to implement positive change at both work and home- starting with you.

The program is accredited by the Association of Business Psychologists and the ICF (providing 47.5 CCEUs). 

Target Audience:

The course is particularly beneficial for leaders, HR professionals in organisational development, leadership and learning who see the need to raise self-awareness and interpersonal skills in their employees, starting with themselves. Many educators, coaches and counselors also attend the certification training to see how to incorporate emotional intelligence into their classrooms, schools, and practices.

About the Instructor

Jayne is Regional Director of Six Seconds Middle East & Africa, as well as Founder and Managing Director of Dynamic Learning. Her passion is maximising the potential of human capital by leading organisation consulting and training utilizing EQ as a frame work for unlocking value and performance. She brings 20 years of operational leadership experience along with extensive expertise in the design and delivery of powerful, scalable learning and development programs.

She holds a Post-Graduate Degree in Human Resource Management and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Learning and Development. Jayne is amongst a handful of Six Seconds Advanced Practitioners in Emotional Intelligence in the world and a Master Trainer of the Six Seconds Certification Programs. 

She is author of the “At the Heart of Service” programs, and co-author of “At the Heart of Team Performance” and the EQ Advanced Trainer certification program. In addition, Jayne is an accredited Belbin Consultant, a certified PulsAnalys (DiSC) Trainer, a Master Practitioner of NLP (ABNLP), a Practitioner of Hypnosis (ABHT) and a Practitioner of Time Line Therapy (ABTLT).
