Course Overview
The Master of Arts (M.A.) in Muslim Women's Studies program provides an in-depth analysis of the main issues of women in the Islamic World, based on sound scientific methods, particularly in regard to the complex interactions between political, economic and social aspects, and the interactions between Islamic and external influences on women in the Islamic world. The program also broadens the academic interest in women’s studies in the Islamic world, especially in the light of the current intensive processes of modernization and globalization as well as Islamic revivalism in Islamic societies.
