This is the essence of Contract administration or management.FIDIC is one of the oldest professional organization and they promote harmony in the Construction industry through their Standard form of Contracts. Their suite of contracts, which is called 'Rainbow suite' are extremely popular in the international construction market. These documents are constantly reviewed by all the construction professionals and updated to suit to the changing business environment.
UAE has adapted the FIDIC form of contract and it is the most popular form of contract even today. With both Dubai and Abu Dhabi are surging ahead with ambitious plans for the future, it is important for the construction professionals to fully conversant with the principles of contract administration based on FIDIC, to ensure the desired goals are met by all stakeholders.

Local considerations in respect of penalties, force majeure and decennial liability etc. Recommendations for successful procurement and administration of Construction Contracts with practical tips for Clients, design consultants, Contractors and Subcontractors
Facilitator
The course tutor is an experienced trainer and distinguished speaker on various topics related to Contracts and Commercial management. He has trained more than 600 professionals in the past two years and conducted several workshops related to construction industry all over GCC. His papers have been published in leading construction and arbitration journals. He also mentors construction professionals for obtaining chartered membership from Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London.
He is a chartered Engineer, Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Construction law specialist (UK), Fellow member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London. In addition, he is a qualified Cost and Management Accountant and Fellow member of CMA institute. The facilitator has over 30 years of experience in GCC in every aspect of engineering and construction projects and he has worked with Leading consultants and international contractors in the region. He is fully conversant with various FIDIC suite of contracts and currently advising clients in settlement of construction disputes.
