Hindi is an old beautiful language which has lots of Indian poetry, literature as well as many sacred texts, and most of these poetries and the literature are very worth of reading. There are many foreigners who are very interested in the style of Indian films but they cannot understand the Hindi language at all, so they often regret that they cannot watch a whole Indian film. However, if you can learn Hindi language well and understand Hindi language well, you will enjoy the Indian films better. By able to speak Hindi, you would be able to converse about the different tantalizing food, culture, travel to exciting places and in general broaden your knowledge.

- Students participate in a variety of activities during this class, including lectures, in-class exercises, weekly homework and quizzes, and group/pair work.
- Students are expected to complete weekly homework and quizzes.
