Course details
The aim of this programme is to give participants the practical and technical skills in the latest web technologies for building web applications to run on multiple devices, including mobile devices and tablets. Participants will gain CIW industry certification, and commercial experience of web and hybrid app development ready for employment as Web, JavaScript or Ruby on Rails Developers or starting their own business as freelance developers. The programme includes practical programming throughout, and commercial projects and work placements for industry including some of Dublin’s leading technology companies.

Requirements
- Leaving Certificate; Good numerical & literacy skills; Good written and verbal communication skills
- Aptitude for mathematics and logical constructs; Strong interest in computers / technology essential; Analytical approach to problem solving and decision-making; Ability to work as part of a team and effectively complete tasks within set timeframes
- Prior web design or programming experience desirable but not essential
