This 2D&3D CAD Technician Programme is focused on delivering skills in the specialist 3D and visualisation area to support the growing opportunities in the architectural design, construction, and digital entertainments industry. It aims to give participants with no prior CAD experience the opportunity to build the latest technician skills required for an expanding range of engineering, architectural and creative roles. The programme will also include support for setting up as self-employed offering these in-demand skills as independent contractors.

Requirements
- Leaving Certificate
- Aptitude for graphical work; Aptitude for visualising objects in 3D; Strong interest in design, graphics, engineering or architecture; Ability to work as part of a team and effectively complete tasks within set time frames
- Previous experience in related industries an advantage
