Course details
The aim of the programme is to provide learners with the skill, knowledge and competencies to provide administrative and secretarial support in a medical office or a legal office or a finance environment. Learners may choose one of 3 options - depending on their prior skills and experience and their preferred career path. Each course is equal in terms of duration and work experience. Depending on the Diploma selected, learners will be equipped to secure a position in Office Administration in a wide range of environments. The skills acquired will enable the learner to apply for niche roles or general administration positions.

Requirements
- 18 years of age
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent, with minimum pass level in English and maths (where relevant to the Diploma choice - certification in a biology or accounting subject is an advantage) Keyboard skills - min 15wpm Fluent written and spoken English
- Ability to communicate verbally and non-verbally in standard everyday tasks Ability to provide effective customer service within a range of environments A clear understading of the course objectives and relevant business plan/reasons to support their application All applicants will have to complete a Keyboard Skills Test and Word 2013 Demo at recruitment stage
- work experience, ideally some element of Customer Service/administration experience. Ability to work on a perosnal computer and within a manual office environment. Applicants may be required to complete Skills and Apptitude testing in Computer Literacy, Keyboard Skills, Numeracy and English Language fluency.
