MiX Telematics acknowledges that sometimes, due to location, time constraints, scheduling or finances, it is difficult to get an experienced driver trainer when you need one. For this reason, we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to conduct on-site Trainer & Assessor courses. Our experienced master trainers can deliver comprehensive training to key people in your organisation, enabling them to be your trainers of the future.

Some organisations deliver a standard course and expect great results every time. Because of our years of experience in land transport operations, we recognise that our clients have different requirements and needs. As such, we tailor our courses - in terms of content and duration - to suit your needs. We also realise that some really good assessors don't necessarily make good trainers, and as a result we have broken our course down into two components: Assessor and Trainer. All candidates undertake the Assessor component first, and those who have the ability and desire to continue can go on to complete the Trainer component. We offer Trainer & Assessor courses in a wide variety of areas and disciplines pertaining to land transport, including driver training and mechanical lifting training.

Course Objectives

To provide the participant with the required knowledge and skills to confidently and competently deliver training and conduct competence-based assessments.

This course provides participants with the necessary skills, attitude and knowledge to do the following:

• Plan, deliver and review training
• Plan, conduct and provide feedback on assessment

Course Outcomes

This course will deliver the required training in terms of theory and practical skills. The participant must be competent in both areas to attain the qualification and certification. Participants are guided through interactive classroom training delivery and hands-on practical sessions and supported by comprehensive coaching and a final competence assessment. A certificate of competence is issued to participants who successfully complete this course.
