TPM originated in the Japanese manufacturing industry and was one of the principle reasons for the rise of the Japanese Automotive industry. It is based on the implementation of basic but important and logical methods using teamwork as a core discipline. This course looks closely at the advantages and disadvantages of TPM, with a focus on the practicalities of implementation. The focus will be on how to make TPM an effective and living tool.
