Why Module I Course?

The objective of the MOD I seminar is to train participants in the application of the Value Engineering (VE) process in design and construction of facilities. VE methodology has been developed over the past 50 years to assist owners and design professionals to obtain optimum value for each SR spent. Typical potential VE savings range from 5 to 25% of the construction cost. This seminar teaches VE technology in a "hands-on" application seminar/workshop. During the seminar, design architects, structural/civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers will team up and participate in a "real-time" decision making process using a VE computer simulation models that were developed to optimize quality, value, and reduce cost of facilities. Participants will apply the VE methodology to a live project to gain experience in using this technology. The main objective of MOD I seminar is to extend the knowledge base of those who have acquired the basic VE training / knowledge and wish to apply the VE methodology as a professional in value management.
