LEARNING OBJECTIVESBy the end of the course students should be able to:
- have the vocabulary to talk about one's self, family, objects, house, and community, as well as numbers, colors, days of the week, months, and clothing.
- understand the basics of Filipino grammar including basic sentence structures, root words and word formations, and actor and object focus in sentences.
- carry a conversation given a simple situation such as giving directions
- read texts with concrete vocabulary and simple sentences
- write a paragraph using simple sentences.
